From Lab 2 Fulfillment

This workshop series will teach women in STEM how to transform their research and discoveries into profitable products and companies.

From Lab 2 Fulfillment was created by Dr. Yadid-Pecht to guide women in STEM towards commercialization. Small interactive sessions alongside one-on-one coaching cultivate a supportive space to ideate and pivot research into businesses. The process that Dr. Yadid-Pecht has designed helps women in STEM make their scientific innovations more impactful by showing them how to overcome hurdles, find supporters, and build their strategic plans and alliances.

This workshop has an 8 participant maximum.

In order to provide meaningful engagement with each individual and their ideas, the workshop capacity is limited.

The registration fee of $1000 is fully covered by the WESTEM program.

Meet Your Presenter: Dr. Orly Yadid-Pecht

Dr. Orly Yadid-Pecht is an Electrical Engineering Professor at the University of Calgary and AITF Strategic Chair in Integrated Intelligent Sensors (I2Sense, formerly ISIS labs). Previously, she established and headed the VLSI center at the Ben Gurion University. Holding over 30 patents she co-founded several successful start-ups: (WiDR, ToneTech, Luxmux and EatLittle).

Most of her patents are licensed to companies worldwide. She became a certified coach in 2013 (Newfield, USA) which put her on the path to create FL2F. Dr. Yadid-Pecht also acts as a consultant to law firms, VCs and technology companies.
